As I look back on my New Year’s resolutions, I realize that 2009 was not a good year for me.

Resolution 2
Help the Legislature push through severe budget cuts in
education funding that will result in massive statewide layoffs.

Result:
My anti-school allies in the Legislature were perfectly positioned to deal a fatal blow to Florida's public schools, but FEA intervened AGAIN and helped save school funding. Thanks to their meddling, thousands of jobs were saved and education quality was maintained...for now!
