As I look back on my New Year’s resolutions, I realize that 2009 was not a good year for me.

My goals to cut education funding and spend the money on special interest groups and give tax breaks to the rich were thwarted continuously by those people at the Florida Education Association.

Stop Florida residents from working together to
Make Our Schools a Priority.
Result:
Result: Failure
It seems like everyone, kids, parents, educators, and community members, are concerned about our future, so they're helping to Make Our Schools a Priority now.
The examples of their united front are endless: From one parent writing a letter to their legislator about improving funding for their child's school to thousands of concerned citizens gathering together for education rallies around the state.
My attempts to stop the Make Our Schools a Priority momentum were futile.
