Individual Attention for Students
When classroom sizes start to burst at the seams, students start to fall through the cracks. The success of our students is directly related to the amount of individualized attention educators can give to each learner.
Creating classroom environments that allow teachers to provide one-on-one time to students is one of the best strategies to ensure educational success. To achieve this, we need to keep class sizes small and manageable for educators. Statistics show students that receive more individual attention from their teachers perform better on reading and math tests, participate more in school, and have fewer discipline problems.
Some of our elected officials believe making class sizes larger is an easy way to save money. But in reality, the quality of our students' education suffers and that affects everyone's future. Make sure your lawmakers and school officials understand our students deserve better.
Help us keep individual attention for students a priority!
