The Florida public schools we have today are the result of investments, ingenuity, and quality educators. It's imperative to the future of our great state that we continue the tradition of creating and maintaining great schools.

But bigger class sizes, less time for student-teacher interaction, mandated paperwork, inadequate resources, staff cuts, and fewer class choices has quality schools slipping out of reach. We must confront these challenges in order to give every Florida student a chance for a better future.

A better future begins with quality public schools that give students the opportunity to be successful. Quality teachers and education staff professionals are vital to instilling a love for learning in students that will translate into success later in life.

We must invest in education today. In doing so, it will pay future dividends in the form of safer neighborhoods, stronger local economies and a better Florida.

Now is the time to get involved in our schools and talk with your elected officials about what is happening to our schools. Now is not the time to let education take a back seat. We must invest in our schools to give our students the world-class education they deserve.
